Elizabeth Terminal operates year-round passenger and car ferry services, offering a range of services and facilities available to both departing and arriving passengers.
Opening hours
Elizabeth Terminal is open from 6am until the last passenger vessel has departed.
Food and drink at The Shipyard
The Shipyard opens 2.5 hours before each sailing, giving you time to enjoy something to eat and drink before you set off.
Foot passengers can use the cafe area, which includes toilets, a children’s play area and relaxed outdoor seating space.
Car passengers can pick up grab‑and‑go items as they move through the Harbour. You’ll find a selection of rolls, pastries and grab‑and‑go favourites, including vegetarian options.
Departing from Elizabeth Terminal
Foot passengers
Foot passengers must check-in no later than 45 minutes before the scheduled sailing. Once you’ve received your boarding cards, you should wait in the main hall until you’re called though to security.
Car passengers
Car passengers must check-in no later than one hour before the scheduled sailing. Once you’ve received your boarding cards, you’ll be directed to a lane.
Approximately 40 minutes before departure, cars will go through security.
Arriving in Jersey
On arrival in the terminal building, passengers from Saint Malo will be required to clear immigration. UK passengers and cleared international passengers will then proceed into the baggage reclaim and arrivals hall.

You can use your Sunflower lanyards, Sunflower Card or a digital version of the Sunflower Card to communicate to our staff if you may need additional support or understanding. Our staff have been trained to recognise all formats of the Sunflower scheme.
