Working collaboratively, this multi-skilled team provides safe, effective, and value-added technical services across Ports of Jersey. Engineering have a diverse range of roles across engineering, IT and facilities; and with customers across Ports, no two days are the same! 

Whatever your age and whatever your background, an apprenticeship in Engineering is a great way to combine practical on-the-job training with part-time study at Highlands college, while earning a salary.    

Criteria to apply for an apprenticeship in Engineering

You will need to be at least 16 years old and have an actual or predicted GCSE Level 4/5 or above (or above) in Maths, English and a Science subject. You’ll also need to commit to a three-year programme, be passionate about engineering and have an eagerness to learn.
