Volunteering by Team Ports
We want to be a force of good in the community that we serve and have pledged to give more than 1,000 hours of volunteering time this year.
We run a volunteering programme and currently offer all employees 22 hours a year to participate with charities and other community groups.
We also offer a fund for employees to access for funding for entry fees, sponsorship and equipment and supplies required for any volunteering they undertake.
If you have any volunteering opportunities, please email pojcsr@ports.je. All roles will be advertised internally to Ports of Jersey employees.
Being part of Island life
We strive to make a positive difference to the local community, through the investment and support of prominent events, local social projects and volunteering.
Outside of our Partnership Agreements, we continue to work with other charities and have committed to have contact with 50 local charities, schools and community groups throughout the year, to offer volunteering, promoting fundraising events internally and entry to a number of fundraising initiatives.
We have financially supported a range of events that encourage visitors to the Island including Super League Triathlon, Jersey Marathon, Jersey Battle of Flowers and the Festival of Words.
We are keen to support inclusion through sport, recreation, arts and culture, whilst celebrating our skies, sea and shoreline.
