Why are Ports of Jersey doing this?

Ports of Jersey exists to serve our community and the economy that supports it. We have a responsibility to the environment, to our community, to our customers, to our partners and to our employees. We believe that the best way we can help build the future that the island deserves is by taking a leading role in developing a sustainable future for our island and tackling the challenges this brings head on.

We have a long history of making a positive social impact. We are at the heart of island life, connecting Jersey to the outside world and enabling islanders to access all they need for a high quality of everyday life through our freight links. However, we want to do more. We want to be a force for good in the community that we serve.
