Harbour scavenger hunt

Explore St Helier Harbour this half term with our Scavenger Hunt. Fun for all the family.

We hope it will encourage families to explore Jersey’s harbours while learning about their history.  Starting outside the Marina Office, next to the Maritime Museum, the hour-long trail follows a circular route from the marina to the Albert Pier and back. Children will learn nautical and historical facts as well as essential seafaring knowledge such as the phonetic alphabet and the Beaufort wind scale.

The scavenger hunt is ideal for children in Key Stage 2. Maps can be collected from the Marina Office or downloaded here.
