Jersey Marinas launches 2019 Satisfaction Survey among local boat owners
From Jersey Marinas
30th January 2019
Jersey Marinas has distributed its annual customer satisfaction survey to local boat owners to encourage feedback and comment on the facilities and services it provides.
The annual survey was first launched in 2014 as an opportunity for Jersey Marinas to engage more effectively and openly with its customers to gain a better understanding of their satisfaction levels and comments relating to marina issue. Questions in the latest online survey range from the type of vessel customers own to the level of service provided to them by staff as well standards of facilities it provides at all its three marinas in St Helier.
According to Group Leisure Manager for Ports of Jersey, Mike Tait, who has specific responsibility for Jersey Marinas, the survey is an effective way of measuring satisfaction levels among its customers. He explains, “Since we first launched the survey we have overall, received very positive feedback from our customers. Not only do we value and appreciate their comments, but importantly, we’ve demonstrated over the years that wherever feasible, that action has been taken because of their suggestions to improve our service levels and marina facilities.”
Jersey Marinas provides over 2,500 berths and moorings across each of its three award-winning marinas – St Helier Marina, Elizabeth Marina and La Collette Marinas as well as many outlying harbours. Each of the marinas have retained its 5-Gold Anchor status, awarded by the Yacht Harbour Association for the past 14 years. The Gold Anchor scheme is an internationally acknowledged sign of quality and endorses Jersey as a leading marina leisure destination in Northern Europe.
In 2018 the survey results found that 80% of Jersey registered boat owners remain overall satisfied with the range of facilities and levels of service provided to them by Jersey Marinas.
The survey is due to close on Sunday 17 February 2019. Any registered Jersey boat owner who has not yet received an online version of the survey is asked to contact Jersey Marinas on telephone (01534) 447708 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
