Joint initiative: St Helier Boat Owners Association and Jersey Marinas

An amnesty on all tenders will be put in place on 15 October 2015 within St Helier Old Harbour. Owners and users with tenders on pontoons and in the racks provided are to ensure:

  1. All tenders are clearly marked with a name “T/T” or JY/J number registered to the owner or parent vessel
  2. Each tender should have a painter of between 8-10 feet (2.45 – 3.05m) in length of rope or chain but not cable
  3. Outboards should be stored inside the dinghy or tender
  4. Tenders must not exceed the agreed 10 feet in length (3.05m)
  5. Oversized tenders must be removed

On Sunday 15 November 2015 any offending / unclaimed / unmarked dinghies and tenders will be removed.
